    McTELVIN AGIM

    HEIGHT/WEIGHT/AGE

    6-foot-3

    310 pounds

    22 years old

    BIG PICTURE

McTelvin Agim was a highly-touted five-star recruit in Arkansas and stayed home to play for the Razorbacks. Put forward a strong four-year career in the SEC with 14.5 sacks, 31 tackles for loss and six forced fumbles while playing a myriad of positions on the defensive line. Played 42 games in his college career. May not be the high-ceiling player he was considered out of high school but could be a useful piece. Played at the Senior Bowl and ran well enough at the combine to not impact his draft stock.

    COMBINE NOTABLES

    4.98 40-yard dash

    27 bench reps

    VIKINGS' COMPATIBILITY RANKING

4 out of 5. Could fall right into the Vikings' fourth-round sweet spot for defensive tackles, and he comes from the school where Minnesota drafted a defensive tackle one year ago in Armon Watts.

    WHAT DRAFT EXPERTS SAY

Lance Zierlein, NFL.com: "Agim is a work in progress with only one season as a full-time defensive tackle after playing defensive end previously. While his technique and fundamentals are still in a developmental stage as an interior defender, elements like hand placement and ball awareness are expected at defensive end, so it is a little disappointing they are behind. He has snap quickness to become a better one-gap penetrator and rush talent to build upon if he can attack with a better plan and more urgency. He's not strong enough to withstand NFL power at the point of attack so development of strength and technique will be critical if he is to become a rotational 4-3 defensive tackle."

Kyle Crabbs, Draft Network: "McTelvin Agim is an intriguing developmental prospect on the defensive interior. Agim possesses a strong first step and has some dominant flashes of releasing to the mesh point on film, but those reps get bogged down with lapses in hand usage, anchor ability and play recognition on the defensive interior. Agim is a recent convert to interior line play, so there is some notable room for growth with additional reps. Given his size and quickness, he's preferably playing 3T in the NFL."

    WHAT PFF SAYS

81.5 pass rushing grade in 2019 (career best)

Over 20% of snaps at nose tackle

    8.5% run-stop rate (above average)
