A converted tight end, Chase Winovich found his niche on Michigan’s defensive line. With 18.5 sacks over the last three seasons, Winovich earned third-team All-American honors as a fifth-year senior, playing opposite another Michigan D-line prospect in Rashan Gary. He’ll be 24 years old at draft time, which may be a deterrent for some teams, but his run-stopping prowess in college (second-best in the class) should be enough to turn heads. Winovich was a unique tester at the Combine with tremendous speed measurables and poor explosive results. Could become a linebacker at the next level and has interest from 4-3 and 3-4 teams.
