    HEIGHT/WEIGHT/AGE

    6-foot-3

    257 pounds

    21 years old

    BIG PICTURE

In a draft where many of the top prospects are coming off underwhelming final college seasons, Bradlee Anae has momentum. As a senior, he recorded a career-high 13 sacks to bring his overall total to 29.5. The Hawaiian native won the Morris Trophy for his work as he recorded a 20.2% pass-rush win rate as a senior. Didn't necessarily flash at the combine, though didn't kill his stock either. May not profile as a star in the making, but a solid depth piece? Sure.

    COMBINE NOTABLES

    4.93 40-yard dash

    25 bench reps

    31-inch vertical

    115-inch broad jump

    7.44 3-cone drill

    4.43 20-yard shuttle (7th)

    VIKINGS' COMPATIBILITY RANKING

3.5 out of 5. Could fulfill a Vikings need at defensive end in the draft window where the Vikings prefer to take defensive linemen.

    WHAT DRAFT EXPERTS SAY

Lance Zierlein, NFL.com: "Anae's tape tends to grow on you the more you watch with his revved-up motor and salty disposition showing up in every game. He's fairly skilled and instinctive as an upfield rusher with a threatening upfield burst and a relatively diverse approach to climbing past tackles. He's not a natural bender or the longest edge defender and he's much better at attacking blockers than defending his territory against the run. He has the size, hands and strength to play standing or with a hand down, but may have a better chance of becoming a starter as a rush linebacker in a 3-4."

Kyle Crabbs, Draft Network: "Bradlee Anae serves as a high motor defender who will slot well into an odd front defense as a stand up outside linebacker. Anae is fairly developed as a pass rusher and has been successfully exposed to multiple alignments to help place him in disruptive roles. There are some leverage issues present that will flare up in his game but Anae should be considered a potential starter at the next level with his developed hands, high effort and pro caliber build and athleticism."

    WHAT PFF SAYS

    88.1 pass-rushing grade in 2019 (15th)

    700+ snaps three straight years

    65.0 run-stop grade (below average)
