If you thought Derrius Guice’s sophomore season was impressive, take a look at what Sony Michel did last year: 1,227 yards, 7.9 yards per carry, 16 touchdowns. It must help to have Nick Chubb battering the defense 15 times per game.

Michel played four years at Georgia, meaning he’s already 23 year old with a little extra mileage at a position where players can wear down quickly, and his 40-yard dash time was about 0.15 seconds off the top performers at the combine.

That being said, most NFL teams run a two- or three-back system nowadays, and Michel could be a perfect complementary piece.
