His cousin, Bradley Chubb, may be a top 10 pick, but it won’t be terrible for Nick Chubb either, who only sits behind Herschel Walker for all-time rushing yards in the SEC.
Chubb was the conference Freshman of the Year in 2014 with over 1,500 yards but tore up his knee in 2015. How did he respond? With two 1,000-yard seasons and a national championship appearance to end his career.
At 5-foot-10, 225 pounds, Chubb rushed 758 times in his Georgia career at 6.3 yards per carry and scored 44 touchdowns on the ground, contributing 23 100-yard rushing games.
It should help Chubb that he’s now 2.5 years removed from his knee injury. He finished out of the top five in 40 time (4.52), which may push him further into Day 2 of the draft.
