NFL (0.75 Unit) Cooper Rush Over 208.5 Passing Yards (-110): 7:15 PM CT on ESPN

Cooper Rush has had two NFL starts, and in those two starts, he has averaged 280 passing yards, and it hasn’t really looked like a fluke. Although a small sample size, Rush has shown the ability to get the ball out of his hand quickly, which has resulted in success for him in the win column and with passing yards. If you forgot, Rush led the Dallas Cowboys on a wild comeback last year against the Vikings and followed that up with a big win against the 2022 Super Bowl runner-ups just last week. I think Baker Mayfield’s output against the Giants last week could be bringing this total down as well, so I’m lying a discounted number here.

Also, Kellen Moore likes to throw a lot more than the Panthers do, even when he doesn’t have to at times, which should help Rush reach this low total fairly comfortably. I’m very tempted to take the Cowboys here as well in a short underdog spot, but the sun is shining, and I truly believe Rush will get into the 220s or higher again, so that’s what I’m locking tonight.

Every day he will offer his Locks and Degenerate picks. Locks are the games he’s confident in. Degenerates are entertaining but riskier picks.
