    Locks

    MLB (1 Unit) 2-Team Moneyline Parlay (+125)

Tampa Bay Rays (-240) @ Baltimore Orioles: 12:05 PM CT on MASN2

True dominance, that’s what the Tampa Bay Rays have done to the Baltimore Orioles this season. The line here reflects the 17-1 straight-up mark for Tampa and I think the Rays add another to the win column today.

Top pitching prospect Spenser Watkins started off pretty well this season, including notching Baltimore’s lone win against Tampa, but the wheels have come off since with a 10.52 ERA in six straight losses. Rays hitters now own a .346 average and .980 OPS against Watkins, and should provide plenty of cushion for what looks like another bullpen-heavy day for them. Tampa might run away with this one but we’ll just ask them to win again and move on to the next parlay leg.

Cincinnati Reds (-170) @ Miami Marlins: 12:10 PM CT on MLB Network

If the Cincinnati Reds sneak into the playoffs, they’d be wise to set up today’s starter Tyler Mahle to start on the road. Mahle is 7-1 on the road this season with a 1.84 ERA and has allowed one total run in his last three road starts. He should hold down the light-hitting Miami Marlins who are 27th in OPS and 28th in ISO power against right-handed pitching.

Miami will have trouble keeping up since their resident gas can Jesus Luzardo is taking the mound. While I’m not usually looking to back Cincy against a left-hander, it just keeps getting worse for Luzardo since joining Miami, with his ERA ballooning to 9.67 in five starts. The Reds need this game to maintain position in the wild card race, and given the pitching mismatch, I think they get the win and close this parlay.

    Degenerates

    No degenerates today.

Every day he will offer his Locks and Degenerate picks. Locks are the games he's confident in. Degenerates are entertaining but riskier picks.
