  • Tiny Nick’s Gambling Picks: 8/24

    Locks

MLB (0.5 Unit) Toronto Blue Jays/Boston Red Sox Over 9.5 (-110) 6:10 PM CT on NESN

José Berríos hits the road again, and that means a good chance of hitting the over again tonight. These teams have been playing each other much in the way you'd expect given their offenses, cashing over tickets in 5 of the past 6 meetings.

With Berríos and his road struggles, including a 6.82 ERA, more runs should be in store. Those struggles have caused his road games to go 9-3 over this total, and a healthy Boston lineup should be able to do plenty of damage.

And with Toronto looking like they finally broke out of a slump last night, that momentum should continue here against Brayan Bello. The rookie righty for Boston is back due to the team's lack of starter options, and he has been hit hard during his time in the bigs. That includes a start against Toronto, so this potent lineup getting another look at Bello only helps the case for runs here. Small Fenway Park and a little wind assistance should make the rest of the case for this one to get over the total.

    Degenerates

    No degenerates today.

Tiny Nick is 831-696 ATS (+76.5 Units) on his Locks since joining Zone Coverage.

Every day he will offer his Locks and Degenerate picks. Locks are the games he’s confident in. Degenerates are entertaining but riskier picks.
