Something isn't quite making sense with the money line on this game. I would have expected the White Sox, behind Cy Young candidate Dylan Cease, to be a bigger favorite in this spot than they are. That has me reading between the lines and leaning toward the dog here.
It's a solid bet in general, as the Orioles are the best underdog run line team in baseball. And in situations like this, when they're a home dog, they're a ridiculous 32-9 against the run line. Baltimore is also great at hitting sliders, which Cease relies on a lot. We just might have to acknowledge that Baltimore is just a better team as well, so I'll lay some big juice and expect them to keep this close.
