MLB (1 Unit) LA Angels @ Texas Rangers -1.5 (+110; Odds via FAnduel): 7:05 PM CT on Bally Sports SW

The Rangers are looking for the series sweep, and a sweep via the run line as well. I think they’re well positioned to do it given the trends and pitching matchup that really favor Texas here. The Rangers only lead the season series with the Angels 5-4, but have outscored LA 67-40 in those 9 games. That stat exemplifies why the Rangers are so good on the run line this year, with the best home run line record, highest plus/minus, and best average margin of victory.

And this hot Rangers offense that’s put up so many runs against the Angels this year will see Reid Detmers again tonight. The LA lefty should be in trouble against a team so dangerous against left-handed pitching, and his two starts against Texas this season have both ended in lopsided Rangers wins. If Jon Gray can somewhat hold down an Angels team that’s circling the drain, then I think Texas runs away with this one to cash the nice plus-juice return.

MLB (0.5 Unit) Seattle Mariners Team Total Over 5.5 (+100 Odds via Caesars): 7:10 PM CT on Bally Sports KC

You have to love it when the team with the league’s second-worst bullpen goes with a bullpen game. That’s what the Royals have decided to do again, and I’m not complaining. This is a high number to clear, but the Seattle offense has started to get on track and look more like the version that carried them last season. They’ve already knocked around this KC pitching staff for 6 and 10 runs in the first two games of this series, and I like the price here for them to do it again.
