Locks
MLB (One Unit) Oakland A’s -1.5 (-110) @ Texas Rangers: 1:35 PM CT
Oakland has won eight of its last nine currently and outside of a hiccup on Friday night, they aren’t showing any signs of slowing down. In those eight wins, Oakland has covered the run line just 75% of the time and while run lines can often be frustrating, sometimes they just make too much sense not to take. On the hill for Oakland, Sean Manaea is no stranger to late-season playoff pushes and the A’s know just how important it is to take care of business against the bottom feeders of their division so look for Oakland to comfortably handle the lowly Rangers in a Sunday day game affair.
MLB (One Unit) Baltimore Orioles/Boston Red Sox Over 10 (-110): 12:10 PM CT
This pick comes down to a pitching matchup of two guys that simply aren’t good. Keegan Akin comes into this game with a WHIP of 1.79 a.k.a. horrible while Eduardo Rodriguez hasn’t been anything close to an ace either for Boston. I’m a little surprised this total is only 10 the way these two offenses are capable of scoring, especially with these starters on the mound. If I was to angle a team over I would take Boston’s as well in this one but I’m going to keep it simple and take the game over today.
