What can you say about today’s starter for the Baltimore Orioles at this point except that he’s jet fuel for overs. His 7.70 ERA and 1.76 WHIP should be enough for even the inconsistent Kansas City Royals offense to tee off on. It looks like a bullpen game for the Royals today, which is a good sign for over bettors as the K.C. pen has the 7th-highest ERA in the majors.
Their pitching has been getting rocked in general lately, as they’ve given up an average of 6.6 runs per game over the past 20 contests. And the Orioles just love to get into high-scoring games: 15 of their past 20 have gone over this total. Bad pitching versus bad pitching today makes this fairly simple, and with the first two in this series having gone over, I see this one doing the same.
