I'll never get tired of Luke Weaver, ever. The gas can starter for Cincinnati looks to set another game on fire today, and I see another slugfest on the way here. Weaver posted a 10.29 ERA and 2.14 WHIP last month, unsurprisingly fueling games that averaged 16.2 runs.
Washington has had their issues against right-handed pitching, but Weaver's struggles are too massive for even them to get held down. And with the Reds offense on the other side even more runs should be coming, as they'll face Jake Irvin who has a 5.28 ERA at home. Cincy loves to give Weaver run support, averaging 9 per game in those June starts, so this should be an over game.
