My logic here is pretty simple: I don’t want to overreact to the blowout we saw in game 2. Trae Young and Co. looked absolutely out-matched in that road beatdown, but one thing not enough people are talking about is that the Hawks did their job by splitting the first two games, regardless of the score.
Now it’s time to bring that Atlanta crowd energy into the picture, entering the away crowd factor that has driven Giannis Antetokounmpo crazy so far in this playoff run, especially at the end of games. This game should tell us a lot about the rest of the series, so let’s hope the Hawks can bounce back strong after their worst performance of the year so far.
