MLB (0.5 Unit) NY Yankees ML @ Tampa Bay Rays (+115): 12:40 PM CT

The 2022 Yankees are a team that I feel comfortable taking every time they’re an underdog, especially coming off of a loss. Both teams are sending front-end starters to continue their push for the AL East crown, so the road pitching matchup for the Yankees isn’t really favorable on paper, hence the plus-odds. But this 33-14 New York team is just different. Throw a little bit on this one, save the juice and watch Aaron Judge and the Bronx Bombers handle their first-place business.

MLB (.75 Unit) Oakland A’s/Texas Rangers Over 7.5 (-110): 3.07 PM CT

I’m a little confused as to why Vegas keeps giving such low totals for this matchup this weekend, but I’m finally going to take advantage of it. Heading into the final game of this 4-game set, these teams have averaged 11 combined runs per game which is well over the total of 7.5 for this game. In addition, neither team is sending out a front of rotation starter with James Kaprielian (5.58 ERA) and Dane Dunning (4.32 ERA) squaring off. I’m trusting my gut and taking the over in a game that should be able to get over the 7.5 mark fairly easily.

NBA (0.75 Unit) Boston Celtics/Miami Heat Over 195.5 (-110): 7:30 PM CT on ESPN

I had to go with the over here for the TNGP brand. It’s pretty much automatic that when a total is under 200 that I’m going to take the over, especially in a game that so many elite scorers are playing in. The over in this series is 4-2 to this number so far with the two unders being complete duds that I’m going to pretend just didn’t happen. Game 7’s are the best, so let’s just be grateful we can enjoy this matchup on a Sunday instead of another Golden State Warriors blowout.
