NBA (0.5 Unit) Luka Doncic Over 9.5 Rebounds (-110): 8:00 PM CT on TNT

To counter Golden State’s style as best they can, Dallas has gone with a lot of small-ball lineups in this series. That’s created a lot of rebounding opportunities for Luka Doncic who, according to advanced metrics, has averaged a team-high 15 potential rebounds over the first three games.

Doncic has been doing a lot of work on the glass this postseason in general too, averaging 9.5 boards and going over this total in 8 games. With the Mavericks on the brink of elimination here, I’d expect Doncic to see his minutes increase, and that should create enough opportunity for him to get over this prop.

MLB (0.25 Unit) NY Mets (+110) @ SF Giants: 8:45 PM CT on NBCS-Bay Area

Maybe the Warriors can give the bay area a pick-me-up by sweeping Dallas tonight because the Giants are dragging things down. As they showed in last night’s blowout loss, injuries are too much for this team right now, especially since they lack the bats to keep up with an offense like the Mets have.

Both starting pitchers for tonight’s game got starts during their series in New York last month, and both were tagged for an uncharacteristic amount of runs. That tells me we could be looking at another game here that will be decided by bats instead of arms, putting the Mets at an advantage.

I’m also seeing something in this number that brings out my inner contrarian. The Giants have won 17 consecutive home games when Logan Webb starts for them, a ridiculous streak that’s bound to end eventually. But a team who has been that dominant behind a pitcher should be more than a -125 favorite. So out of general principle and fading the Giants in their current slump, I’ll take another shot at a plus-money return on the Mets tonight.
