NBA (1 Unit) Golden State Warriors/Memphis Grizzlies Over 221.5 (-110): 2:30 PM CT on ABC
I’m expecting Golden State to come out firing in this game, pushing the pace against a Grizzlies team with a rest disadvantage. With Memphis having just closed out the Minnesota Timberwolves in a hard-fought game on Friday, this is a tough turnaround to face an offense as hot as the Warriors have been. But I don’t think that will keep Memphis from playing their usual up-tempo style, especially early in this series before things tighten up.
A key for me is how much we’ll see Golden State’s so-called “death lineup,” which will be able to score at will from outside but be very susceptible to the Memphis size advantage. Those stretches of easy points inside for the Grizzlies and high-efficiency three-point shooting for the Warriors should be a good boost to overall scoring. This total is the lowest either team has seen this postseason and has been getting bet up considerably. I agree, as I’m seeing two elite scoring teams who will rely more on that end of the floor to start this series.
