The Houston Astros are officially struggling. They’ve lost 9 of their last 10 and still come into this game as a favorite. It’s too good for me to pass up although the Los Angeles Angels are starting Alex Cobb. He’s not exactly used to winning given that he’s spent the last three years in Baltimore.
On the other side, Cristian Javier has a lot to prove as a starter before I can take him seriously, and I’m going to keep fading the struggling Astros until they give me a reason not to.
NBA - Mavs -3 vs. Lakers (-110): 8:30 PM CT on ESPN
This Dallas Mavericks team has battled back hard to get into the thick of things, and tonight’s game will be of maximum importance to them. They are finally just a half-game back from escaping this four-team tournament in the West and a win tonight would nice to knot things up with the Portland Trail Blazers.
Luka Doncic knows just how scary this Los Angeles Lakers team is at full strength so they will have to take care of business while they have the chance to. Three points is just too small against a depleted Los Angeles roster, even though they've battled without their stars.
