NCAA Basketball (0.5 Unit) IUPUI @ Minnesota -23.5 (-110; Odds via Fanduel): 7:00 PM CT on Big10+

KenPom has IUPUI ranked as the 8th-worst team overall in the country. Amazingly, that’s an improvement over past seasons, but it won’t be enough to hang with Minnesota here. The Jaguars are simply too awful on both ends of the court, ranking bottom-20 in both adjusted offensive and defensive efficiency.

The Gophers will be their first power conference opponent this season, and IUPUI is still just 1-7 ATS on the year. Minnesota just keeps covering numbers though, 9-1 ATS on the year and 8-0 in Williams Arena for the best home ATS record in the country. This has all the makings of a 25-plus point blowout, so I’ll lay the points with Minnesota here.

NBA (0.75 Unit) Cleveland Cavaliers @ Boston Celtics -10.5 (-110; Odds via Caesars): 6:30 PM CT on NBCS-Boston

This is a really tough situational spot for Cleveland, and I think it turns out to be too much to handle in the end. The Cavs just played a rough, physical game last night in Orlando and now have to face a rested Celtics team in TD Garden. It’s possible the Cavaliers can hang around for awhile, but Boston should eventually pull away given they’re at full strength now. Boston’s nightly barrage of three’s and excellent transition game are tough for any team to handle in a normal game. It should really be too much for Cleveland here, as they have the league’s worst ATS record at 0-5-1 and average ATS margin at minus-12.4 when facing a rest disadvantage.

NBA (1 Unit) Sacramento Kings/LA Clippers Over 234.5 (-110; Odds via Caesars): 9:30 PM CT on Bally Sports SC

The Clippers have not been an over team this year, especially at home where last night’s game was just the second to cash the over for them. But the back-to-back that game creates for tonight should be a big factor in helping this one over the total. As does the back-to-back the Kings find themselves in after a track meet with Brooklyn last night.

I’m especially optimistic about LA considering their game last night flew over the total against a very defensive-oriented and slow Portland team. With Sacramento and their up-tempo style visiting Crypto tonight, I think tired legs for both teams causes a lack of defense so I’ll take the over.
