NFL (0.5 Unit) Tampa Bay Buccaneers Team Total Under 17 (-110): 3:25 PM CT on FOX
Much has been made of the San Francisco defense dominating teams in second halves recently, allowing just 7 total points after halftime in their past 5 games combined. That’s important here because Tampa does more scoring in the second half of games than the first, with Monday night being a good example. But the Bucs are 29th in first-half scoring, and as a result, have seen their games go 11-1 under the first-half total.
Tampa is also 11-1 under their team totals on the season, and combining their first-half futility with San Fran’s dominant second-half defense should produce another. The 49ers have allowed one team to score more than this total at Levi’s Stadium, and that was the elite Kansas City offense. The Bucs are nowhere near that level offensively right now and should struggle against the league’s best defense that has to carry the team with Jimmy Garoppolo out.
NFL (1 Unit) 2 Team 6 Point Teaser; Kansas City Chiefs -3, Philadelphia Eagles -1 (-120):
Kansas City Chiefs -3 @ Denver Broncos
The Chiefs have struggled this year ATS, but on a tease I have full confidence in them to get the job done. Denver’s opponents are 11-1 this season on a 6-point tease, while the Chiefs are 14-0 straight up on the year against the AFC West. That’s a horrifying combination for the Broncos, so let’s keep it simple and count on Patty Mahomes to get back on track today.
Philadelphia Eagles -1 @ New York Giants
I’ve seen nothing in the past month that tells me the Giants can keep up with Jalen Hurts and the Eagles. The addition of A.J. Brown to the Eagles offense has been one of the best offseason moves in the whole league if not the best. And to top it off they have a running back in Miles Sanders who is more than capable of being a threat alongside Hurts in the run game. The Giants haven’t won a game in over a month and the Eagles are 11-1 this season on a 6 point tease so I’m rolling with what’s been working lately.
Degenerates
No degenerates today.
Tiny Nick is 977-815 ATS (+89.3 Units) on his Locks since joining Zone Coverage.
Every day he will offer his Locks and Degenerate picks. Locks are the games he’s confident in. Degenerates are entertaining but riskier picks.
