NCAA Football (0.5 Unit) Oklahoma State Team Total Over 36.5 (-110; Odds via Fanduel): 2:30 PM CT on ABC

Oklahoma State had a magical run going until it was derailed in the ugliest fashion possible two weeks ago. But don’t let that scare you from backing their offense today in a very favorable matchup. The BYU defense is just plain awful, allowing 37.0 PPG the past 4 weeks, and that’s held down by Dillon Gabriel missing most of last week’s game where Oklahoma only scored 31 on them.

The Cougars rank 78th in opponent yards per point, 98th in points per game, and are a bottom-15 rush defense. Pokes star running back Ollie Gordon should feast today, and I don’t see OSU calling off the dogs for their final home game, so expect them to score in the 40’s today.

NCAA Football (0.5 Unit) Tennessee Team Total Over 41.5 (-110; Odds via Fanduel): 2:30 PM CT on SEC Network

Tennessee is in desperate need of a reset game, and they should put it on their in-state rival today. It really hasn’t been much of a rivalry lately, with the Vols winning the past 3 meetings by scores of 42-17, 45-21, and 56-0. The Vanderbilt defense is living up to the expectations of being terrible this season, allowing the 7th-most points in the entire country.

Tennessee coach Josh Heupel has never been afraid to run up the score on an outmatched opponent, especially at home. But after consecutive weeks of struggling against elite defenses, this is an opportunity to take the high-powered offense out for a joy ride. Being below the key number of 42 here is important for a team that tends to score in exact touchdown intervals, so I’ll look for the Vols to rack up at least 6 trips to the end zone today.

NBA (0.5 Unit) Atlanta Hawks/Washington Wizards Over 248.5 (-110; Odds via Fanduel): 6:00 PM CT on Bally Sports SE

New rule in NBA betting: when the Pacers, Wizards, or Hawks are playing, your first look has to be at the over. When two of them are playing each other, it’s basically an automatic play on the over no matter how ridiculous the total might seem. Atlanta just got done making the highest total I’ve ever seen look silly in a 309-point affair on Tuesday, and have been getting into this kind of game all season.

With these squads top-5 in pace, bottom-5 in defensive rating, and the Wizards on a back-to-back, this should be even higher scoring than their first meeting of 251 points. Just follow the rule here, books can’t make these totals high enough.
