Locks
NFL (1 Unit) New York Giants -3 @ Detroit Lions (-110): 12 PM CT on Fox
Why isn’t this spread bigger? It’s a question I’ve been asking all week, and if this is a trap, I’m diving right into it. Not only are the Lions a dumpster fire, NFC East teams are 21-6 SU and 18-8-1 ATS outside the division so far in 2022. The Giants are also 5-0 ATS against opponents with a losing record, while Jared Goff is just 1-10-1 straight up in his last 12 road games. My goal today is to keep it simple and roll with the superior team in a short favorite spot.
NFL (1 Unit) Washington Commanders -3 @ Houston Texans (-110): 12 PM CT on Fox
Everything I said in the last game, except this time we’re fading a bad AFC team. Taylor Heinicke is 9-2-1 ATS in his past 12 starts, so I was very surprised to see this spread as small as it is against a Texans team that has been bad pretty much all year. The Texans are 6-13-1 ATS versus NFC opponents since 2018, and as I said in my last pick, NFC East teams are 21-6 SU and 18-8-1 ATS outside the division. It’s time to give the NFC East some respect, so I’m rolling with the Giants.
Degenerates
No degenerates today.
Tiny Nick is 952-793 ATS (+87 Units) on his Locks since joining Zone Coverage.
Every day he will offer his Locks and Degenerate picks. Locks are the games he’s confident in. Degenerates are entertaining but riskier picks.
