  • Tiny Nick’s Gambling Picks: 11/05

    Locks

    NCAA Football (1 Unit) Utah -8.5 @ Stanford (-110): 9:30 PM on FS1

Utah has become a vastly different team in recent weeks, and the way they’re playing spells trouble for this wounded Stanford squad.

With Cameron Rising at quarterback, the Utes have turned into a high-flying offense, averaging 38.8 PPG since the calendar flipped to October. That’s also when they started covering numbers this season, going 3-1 ATS in those games. A shootout is exactly what Stanford doesn’t need. They’re likely without starting QB Tanner McKee, and the offense has been south of atrocious with Jack West under center.

The Cardinal only has one win in the most improbable fashion over their past 5 games, which was their only cover in that stretch as well. The movement on this spread tells me McKee will not play, and I just don’t see them being able to compete. Utah will be motivated to solidify their Pac-12 South lead in a series they’ve dominated recently, so lay the points.

    Degenerates

    No degenerates today.

Tiny Nick is 426-331 ATS (+84.3 Units) on his Locks since joining Zone Coverage.

Every day he will offer his Locks and Degenerate picks. Locks are the games he’s confident in. Degenerates are entertaining but riskier picks.
