Locks
NFL (1 Unit) Green Bay Packers -1 @ Denver Broncos (-110): 3:25 PM CT on CBS
Any chance I get to fade Russell Wilson and this broken Denver Broncos team, I’m taking it. The Broncos are just not a functional football team and although Jordan Love hasn’t been consistent to start the season, he has a couple of his main weapons back and shouldn’t have to do too much against a terrible Denver defense.
NFL (0.5 Unit) Kansas City Chiefs/Los Angeles Chargers Over 47.5 (-110): 3:25 PM CT on CBS
I’m trusting my gut on this one despite both of these two teams hanging below this number for much of the last month. One of these two teams will most likely have to play from behind and with two mediocre running attacks I see the passing games taking over early. We’re used to seeing this total above 50 between these 2 great quarterbacks so I’m taking the over at 47.5 while I can.
NFL (0.5 Unit) Tampa Bay Bucs -2.5 Vs Atlanta Falcons (-110): 12 PM CT on FOX
I say it every week on my podcast and I’ll say it here. Fade Desmond Ridder season is upon us and after he finally ended his ridiculous home winning streak, I expect that losing momentum to carry over to the road. I know the Bucs didn’t look good last week but they were up against a Detroit team that is sneaky good and very well could make the NFC Championship. The Bucs defense is for real and Baker Mayfield is playing just well enough to give me the confidence to roll with the Bucs here in my ongoing campaign to fade Ridder and the Falcons.
NFL (1 Unit) Miami Dolphins/Philadelphia Eagles Over 51 (-110): 7:20 PM CT on NBC
What better way to end your Sunday than to do it with some points. Dolphins games this season are off to a hot start averaging over 63 points per game in those contests. I don’t see that slowing down against a banged up Philadelphia secondary and a Dolphin’s defense on the other side that hasn’t been good all season. Not to mention this is a starter/backup matchup for 2 former Alabama Quarterbacks that I can’t wait to see set the field on fire Sunday night. I wouldn’t be surprised if this game gets played into the 60’s or even higher so I’m rolling with the over.
Bonus Props:
(0.5 Unit) Tua Tagovaila Over 23.5 Completions (-110)
(0.75 Unit) Sam Howell Over 21.5 Completions (-110)
(0.5 Unit) Justin Herbert Over 38.5 Attempts (-110)
Degenerates
No degenerates today.
Tiny Nick is 1544-1385 ATS (+78.6 Units) on his Locks since joining Zone Coverage.
Every day he will offer his Locks and Degenerate picks. Locks are the games he’s confident in. Degenerates are entertaining but riskier picks.
