I know the Patriots never play well in Miami, but on a week that so many games have no implications, this one actually matters. Tua Tagovailoa struggled in a big way last week in a game that the Dolphins needed so this week shouldn’t be much easier. The Patriots not only have the superior former Alabama quarterback, but they also have a better head coach, team, and motivation. With a win, the Patriots can move as high as No. 2 in the AFC standings. Tease it down to 0 if you want to play super safe, but the Patriots should win this one by more than one score.
NBA (0.5 Units) Minnesota Timberwolves -6 @ Houston Rockets (-110): 6 PM CT
Minnesota finally survived their COVID stretch which means no more excuses for a team that’s trying to make a legitimate playoff push. They got their big 3 back last week and haven’t disappointed since. If D'Angelo Russell has rediscovered his jump shot it further adds to how dangerous this Minnesota team really can be when clicking. But as excited as I am about the Wolves being healthy, I’m just as excited for a matchup against a lowly Houston Rockets team. Get on this one early because I imagine public steam will take this number over 7 by tip-off.
