One of the newest members on the Minnesota Timberwolves squad, Taj Gibson, was arrested Thursday morning, according to TMZ.
He was pulled over in a Mercedes-Benz for making an illegal u-turn. After he was pulled over it was discovered his license had been suspended and was arrested for aggravated unlicensed operator. While he was released from police custody, he is scheduled back in court September 1st.
Driving without a license is punishable via 30 day stint in jail and a $500 fine.

“The Minnesota Timberwolves are aware of the recent incident in Queens involving Taj Gibson. The team is confident that the matter has been resolved and we will have no further comment on the issue."
