A non-contact injury for Teddy Bridgewater's left knee could mean a long-term problem, but we have no information yet. We'll update more once we have news.

Bridgewater progressed well in the offseason and looked to make the leap. Hopefully, this injury, whatever it is, won't inhibit that progress or the team's outlook.

The Vikings have recently cut Brad Sorensen, and have Shaun Hill and Joel Stave as backup quarterbacks, with Taylor Heinicke recovering from a foot injury.

Why Arif...While we are still all in tears and stupor....What are your thoughts on Taylor Heinicke other than he is total idiot for how he hurt he leg? Do you think he could take over from Hill in the 4th or 5th week and be vaguely competent (Is Ponderesque a legit word)? Any thoughts, comments, slender reeds of dim hope would be appreciated.
