Some wild news coming out of Twitter late Tuesday morning, with Jeff Passan of Yahoo! Sports -- one of the best national reporters going today -- posting that the Minnesota Twins were planning to call a press conference, with the speculation in the game being that manager Paul Molitor was going to be let go.
Just two minutes later, Bob Nightengale of USA Today tweeted that it was already a foregone conclusion.
ESPN's Jerry Crasnick reports that there's a chance Molitor will stay on in the organization in a different role, which is not unlike Ron Gardenhire and Tom Kelly before him.
Assuming the press conference comes together as Passan speculated, stay tuned to Zone Coverage for full updates from Target Field.
