  • Righty Brandon Kintzler, who spent his first six seasons with the Milwaukee Brewers, joined the Minnesota Twins in the offseason and has taken over the closer role in the absence of Glen Perkins and Kevin Jepsen, who was recently let go.

Before he was a pitcher, however, Kintzler, who went to Palo Verde High School in Las Vegas, Nev., was a little daredevil. Dustin Morse, the senior director of communications for the Twins, uncovered a video of a young Kintzler jumping his bike over a line of seated people on local television.

The man who interviewed him? None other than a young Colin Cowherd, who began his broadcasting career as the play-by-play voice for the San Diego Padres Double-A affiliate in Las Vegas and eventually becoming the sports director at KVBC, where he was named Nevada's Sportscaster of the Year five times before on to jobs in Tampa, Portland and eventually ESPN.

You'll never know what you find on YouTube unless you dig, I guess. This was a hidden gem that barely had 100 views at the time it was tweeted out.
