Big Papi was not "Big Papi" when he was with the Minnesota Twins. He was merely a serviceable designated hitter named David Ortiz. Papi shipped up to Boston where he won three World Series rings and became one of the best power hitters in the history of the game, so he did alright. But with the Twins having a particularly down season, Papi had some choice words about Twins fans and the late-Metrodome during his time in Minnesota. They were less than ideal.
