It’s not often that I completely ignore the side or total of a standalone game in favor of a prop pick, but that’s how much I like this one. I’ve been talking about it on TV all week because this feels pretty easy with the way Maye has been playing. He’s 9-3 over this total on the season, regardless of game state as plenty of those overs have come in games the Patriots have won comfortably.

I think he can do it again with the Giants bringing their defense to town that is 28th in passing yards allowed, and they struggle to get pressure so the offensive line injuries for New England are less concerning. The Giants also always manage to push teams with their surprising offense, so I think the Patriots will be forced to throw quite a bit tonight. Boston is also avoiding all the crazy weather from the past few days, so conditions will be perfect for Maye to cruise over this total once again.

With the Nuggets missing Aaron Gordon and Christian Braun until next month, and now Julian Strawther until later this week, now is the perfect time to bet on a good game out of Hardaway. He’s seen a significant uptick in his minutes as the 6th man for Denver since they were hit by all those injuries, but is still lined as a bench player so this total stays fairly low. But those increased minutes have meant more points, going over this number in 4 of the past 5 games. Now he gets to face his former team and I’m sure he’ll be aggressive, so look for him to clear this low total tonight.

NBA (0.5 Unit) Austin Reaves Over 23.5 Points (-110; Odds via DraftKings): 9:00 PM CT on Peacock

The Austin Reaves show rolls on, and he continues to see favorable totals like this one tonight. The expectation is that LeBron James will play in this game, so the scoring distribution will theoretically depress the output for Reaves. But that simply hasn’t been the case whether LeBron is in or out of the lineup, or Luka Doncic, or both the big name Lakers, Reaves keeps on producing. With 30-plus the past three games, two of which LeBron played significant minutes, and an average of 26.9 in November, I just don’t think there’s any stopping him and a fully healthy Lakers backcourt might actually benefit him.
