NCAA Football (2 Unit) 3-Team 7 Point Teaser (+120; Odds via Caesars)

    UCF @ BYU (-10.5): 12:00 PM CT on ESPN2

BYU needs to win and win big, but everyone knows that, especially oddsmakers. So the spread is inflated for this game, asking you to lay a number outside of the margin where I feel comfortable, making a teaser the way to nix that inflation. Honestly the Cougars might just stomp UCF anyway, but I prefer the comfort of 7 fewer points to worry about.

If BYU gets running downhill with LJ Martin against this Knights defense that is 113th in yards per rush allowed on the road, they’ll get their needed blowout. UCF has been pretty bad on the road in Big12 play, losing their 4 away games by an average 22.3 point margin, so barely asking for a double-digit win by BYU isn’t asking a lot.

Oregon/Washington Over (44.5): 2:30 PM CT on CBS

Oregon is also in need of style points as they look to leave no doubt about their CFP candidacy. So I think they can and will score easily against this Washington defense that has seen much less explosive offenses than Oregon put up a lot of points on them. The Huskies lucked into a very soft schedule this season, making their defense look much stronger than it actually is, and Oregon should expose it.

The Ducks will get some reinforcements at the skill positions today, and are in a rhythm after torching USC last week. But that game also showed the weaknesses for Oregon’s defense that a mobile quarterback like Demond Williams can also find, and Washington can score at will when they need to so I think plenty of points are coming in this one.

Missouri/Arkansas Over (48.5): 2:30 PM CT on SE Network

Anything is possible in this border battle of a rivalry game, and Arkansas playing with no holds barred should create a shootout here. The Razorbacks simply don’t have a care in the world at 2-9 overall and 0-7 in SEC play, so they will let it all hang out in this season finale against a hated rival. Despite their record, there is nothing wrong with this Hogs offense, not with Taylen Green maximizing his dual threat ability to play exceptional football.

Arkansas has used his arm and legs to perfection with Bobby Petrino taking over, and have put up some extremely impressive offensive performances against far more elite defenses than Missouri’s. But they might also have the leakiest defense in power conference football, and Mizzou will be able to shred them in this bounce back spot off getting stifled at Oklahoma. Beau Pribula getting another week to heal should return this Tigers offense to where it was early in the season, and ready to go shot for shot with Arkansas this afternoon.
