    Locks

MLB (0.5 Unit) Minnesota Twins ML @ San Diego Padres (+135; Odds via Caesars): 8:40 PM CT on FS1

The Twins showed in Texas that they’re actually capable of winning pitcher’s duels instead of having to out-slug every opponent. I think they’ll be able to create that kind of game again here in a spot where I think they have some sneaky advantages. The first of those is that they aren’t the Padres, who have become one of the more frustrating teams in baseball.

Their star-studded lineup has not been getting it done, and seeing rookie Twins starter Zebby Matthews for the first time today is usually a disadvantage for the batters. The Padres are also fresh from Colorado with no rest after an elevation trip that had them looking rough in dropping 2 of 3 games to the lowly Rockies. If the poor offense they had this weekend carries over, the Twins should be able to get enough off Michael King and a suspect bullpen to pull this out.

    No degenerates today.
