WNBA (0.5 Unit) Las Vegas Aces/Phoenix Mercury Over 168.5 (-110; Odds via DraftKings): 9:00 PM CT on Prime Video

The Las Vegas Aces, the defending champs and the favorite this season, are a .500 basketball team. They’ve lost three games in a row; they lost six all of last season. But help should be on the way with Chelsea Gray expected to return tonight, and not a moment too soon. That will really help their depth and add scoring, so they should be set for a big night offensively against a bad Phoenix defense.

But the Aces have had defensive issues of their own, and it showed in both previous meetings with the Mercury as well as their past two games. With the Mercury now at full strength they should be able to replicate their success from the other meetings, both of which went over this total, and help send this game over as well.

MLB (0.5 Unit) Joe Ryan Over 18.5 Outs Recorded (+140; Odds via DraftKings): 6:40 PM CT on Bally Sports North

It’s once again Joe Ryan Day, and it should be a fairly easy day for him. Ryan gets to face an Oakland team whose poor offense gets even worse away from home, ranked dead last in batting average on the road and 28th in scoring. The A’s are also pretty bad against righthanded pitchers like Ryan, ranked 26th or worse in scoring, average, OPS, and wOBA. So Ryan, who has gone 7 full innings in 4 of his past 6 starts, should have no trouble holding down the A’s and protecting a bullpen that saw a lot of work yesterday.

MLB (0.5 Unit Each) Aaron Nola Over 18.5 Outs Recorded (+115) & Tanner Houck Over 18.5 Outs Recorded (+130; Odds via DraftKings): 6:10 PM CT on NESN

Yesterday’s game between these teams turned into a slugfest, but this one should be a pitcher’s duel between two excellent starters. Both Aaron Nola and Tanner Houck are contending for their respective league’s Cy Young, and should show why tonight. Nola has gone over this number in 4 of his past 5 starts, and is actually much better on the road this season.

Houck meanwhile has gone over this in 4 of his past 6 starts, and is the kind of pitcher who can slow down the dangerous lefty bats in this Philly lineup. At the end of the day, at least one of these guys is going more than 6 innings tonight, and that turns a profit at these plus-juice returns.
