NBA (0.75 Unit) Karl-Anthony Towns Over 34.5 Points+Rebounds (-110; Odds via DraftKings): 7:00 PM CT on TNT

My first reads on this game were that I like New York and I think it will be high-scoring. But I’m going to ease into this series because nothing about either team’s postseason run has made a lot of sense. That has me looking to KAT, who has dominated the Pacers this season with an average of 42.3 on this prop while going 4-0 over this number.

He should get a ton of opportunity in what should be a faster-paced game driven by Indiana’s tempo, and his minutes being sky high in the Knicks system. Getting over this would be an increase from his playoff average, but I’ll count on his history against the Pacers to give the needed boost.

WNBA (0.75 Unit) Minnesota Lynx Team Total Over 90.5 (-110; Odds via Caesars): 7:00 PM CT on Fanduel Sports North

Alright Lynx, we need some basketball positivity in Minnesota in the worst way. While this is a very high total, there are reasons to expect the Lynx can clear it with relative ease. The main reason is that it’s Dallas who’s visiting Target Center tonight, a terrible defensive team that has made very little progress on that end of the floor.

The Lynx just dropped 99 on them in the season opener, and should want to show out again in the home opener. They also get Kayla McBride back tonight, and the fact that they started the season 2-0 over their team total and 2-0 ATS without her is impressive. Myself and other Minnesota basketball fans would benefit from seeing the Lynx do something fun like hang 100, and that’s a very real possibility here.

WNBA (0.5 Unit) Washington Mystics Team Total Over 84.5 (-110; Odds via Caesars): 9:00 PM CT on MNMT

The Mystics were a team that I didn’t really know what to expect from after a lot of personnel changes in the offseason. But they’ve started the season on fire, torching bad defenses pretty easily in hanging 94 and 90 in their first two games. This team can shoot, plus their pace and sketchy defense makes it easy for them to get into shootouts.

I don’t know how much Golden State will be able to do tonight as they’re another team with a ton of question marks, but they do appear to be pretty bad in general. The Valkyries haven’t faced an up-tempo team like this yet, so I expect Washington to keep pouring it on against a weak opponent.
