NBA (0.5 Unit) LA Lakers -3.5 @ Dallas Mavericks (-110; Odds via Caesars): 6:30 PM CT on ESPN

This date has been circled on a lot of calendars for a long time, and rightfully so. Luka returns to Dallas for the first time, and he’s fresh off getting ejected from last night’s game so even more fuel will have been added to his fire. Reports are also circulating that the Lakers are pushing hard for the Pacific title and the third seed in the Western Conference, which is why they didn’t rest anyone last night in a game that was going to be much tougher to win than this one. I just don’t see how a beat-up Dallas team competes with an aggressive Lakers squad that has Luka on a mission, so I’ll lay the points here.

NBA (0.5 Unit) San Antonio Spurs @ Golden State Warriors -10 First Half (-110; Odds via Caesars): 9:00 PM CT on NBCS-BA

Both of these teams are on no rest, which has generally meant success for the Warriors and failure for the Spurs this season. The Warriors are off a demolition of the Suns, and speaking of teams chasing down the Pacific title and that third seed, Golden State is right in the hunt and will be making a max effort tonight. The Spurs however are playing for nothing except better lottery odds, and failed to cover this number in both meetings with the Warriors, one of which they still had Wemby for. The Spurs are 25th in average first half margin on the road this season, and I think a hot Warriors squad runs them out early.

PGA Tour- The Masters (Odds via DraftKings)

It’s the best golf tournament in the world, so I’m definitely getting involved. I really like the outright market this year since my typical strategy, which I stole from the sharpest golf handicappers around, is to throw out the top two favorites and start from there. That means staying away from Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy, which could definitely bite me but their prices at below 10-to-1 just aren’t worth it. So I’ll be cheering on these longer tickets this week at Augusta.
