NBA (0.75 Unit) Golden State Warriors First Half Team Total Over 58.5 (-110; Odds via Caesars): 6:00 PM CT on MNMT

When I see a number like this for Washington, my eyes tend to get a little wide. There’s no reason for any Wizards opponent to have a first half team total this low, not at any point of the season much less now when Washington is actively trying to lose. The Wizards continue to rank dead last in first half points allowed, giving up 63.1 per game overall and 61.4 at home.

In their current 11-game losing streak, they’ve allowed opponents to go 10-1 over this total with 64.7 given up on average. With Golden State desperately needing an easy win, and some starters getting back in the lineup tonight, I think they smash this horrific defense right out of the gates.

NBA (0.25 Unit) Drake Powell Alt Over 9.5 Points (+115; Odds via DraftKings): 6:30 PM CT on YES

Who? Yeah, the rotation is getting a little strange for the Nets right now, especially with several key players listed as out tonight. But someone is going to have to put some points on the board, and I’ll go with the starting point guard who does have some ability. Powell has gone for double digits in consecutive games, both of which had other primary scorers playing, and came against strong defensive teams. Portland is just an average team at best on the defensive end, and probably won’t need to defend too hard tonight as they pull away in this game, so look for Powell to cash this alternate over.
