NBA (0.75 Unit) Toronto Raptors @ Milwaukee Bucks -11 (-110; Odds via Caesars): 7:00 PM CT on SportsNet

Ignore the two wins in a row from Toronto this week, I can promise you the franchise did not try to win those games as they pursue Cooper Flagg. What it might have done is hold this number down a little bit though, and make it easier for a hot Milwaukee team to cover a big spread. This is maybe the healthiest version of the Bucks we’ve seen all season with Giannis and Khris Middleton listed probable tonight, and I don’t think they’ll have any trouble covering.

They’ve handled the Raptors easily in the other two meetings, winning by 14 with Damian Lillard and Middleton out, and then by 24 with Middleton still unavailable. The Bucks have seemingly figured some things out in the past couple weeks, with their last 5 wins coming by an average margin of 17.4 points, including that thumping of Toronto. Meanwhile, the Raptors have only kept two of their past 8 road games within double digits, so expect the full-strength Bucks to roll here.

NCAA Basketball (0.5 Unit) Ohio/Akron Over 158.5 (-110; Odds via Fanduel): 5:00 PM CT on CBSSN

There is going to be nothing but tempo in this game, and if the three’s are falling like I expect them to, then this total will be easy to reach. These teams are both top-30 for shortest offensive possession length this season, with Ohio also 65th and Akron 27th in adjusted tempo. Both squads can also score like crazy, as they’ve both crossed the century mark in a conference game already this season, and are averaging well over 80 PPG in MAC play.

What should really get the scoring going is the three-point shooting, with both teams shooting good percentages but Akron relying on the three-ball at the 8th-highest rate in the country. They’ll face an Ohio defense that is the 3rd-worst in the country for opponent three-point percentage, so plenty of three’s should be dropping to send this over the total.
